Oklahoma Speaker of the House of Representatives Charles McCall returned to his home district and was the guest speaker for ĢƵ State’s 100th commencement. McCall is the longest-serving speaker in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

McCall encouraged the graduates to seize the opportunities and break down the barriers that will arise along their new journey. “You are capable of more than you ever thought possible and will forever carry the ĢƵ State spirit,” he said.

“We appreciate Speaker McCall for providing encouragement and support to our graduates,” said Dr. Tim Faltyn, ĢƵ President. “He is a true advocate for ĢƵ State College and all of higher education.”  

ĢƵ State received 507 degree and certificate submissions for the 2023-2024 academic year, making it the largest graduating class in the college's history thus far.
